Quick and Easy Craft Project; 2-Strand Earrings
These simple 2-Strand Earrings are an easy project for beginners to intermediate level beading enthusiasts. Follow the easy steps including guides for the materials & tools you will need to complete your earrings.
Materials:
* 24 cms Tigertail wire
* Lite crimps
* 2 French Hooks
* Beads; recommended sizes are 2mm & 8mm
*Tools; Flat Nose Pliers & Diagonal Wire Cutters
Instructions:
1. Cut 2 x 12cm lengths of tigertail wire using your diagonal wire cutters.
2. Thread each individual length of tigertail wire through each French hook and bend to form 2 strands with one strand 1cm longer than the other. Secure with a crimp using your flat nose pliers.
3. Add beads along the length of each strand securing with crimps on either side of the bead/s using your flat nose pliers. The aim is to achieve a balanced look to the earrings and I recommend that you place larger sized beads at the bottom of your earrings strands as the extra weight at the bottom will make them hang better.
