Cassandra's Tips on How To Start Your Own Craft Business
1. Get clear on your vision. Keep a journal for a few months of everything you like.
2. Think about what makes you unique - think outside the box. Can you combine two of your craft skills in an unusual way?
3. Big or small? Decide which you will sell.
4. Review your journal and decide on a clear plan of what really drives you.
5. Make a vision board of your results. See my blog on how to make one.
6. Decide on a name and stick to it.
7. Create business cards. Act like a business and the business will come. Buyers can not come to you if they do not know about you...
8. Get a receipt book. Start recording things from the beginning.
9. Persevere. Just keep trying by talking about your business with passion!
10. Keep envisioning what's to be next as your business begins to take off.
Best of luck!
